Gonz's Blank Canvas adidas Superstars

by Brendan Dunne Consider Mark Gonzales' white on white adidas Superstar as the antithesis to Pharrell's rainbow set of Shell Toes. The shoe is about as clean as can be, leaving out any colors and stamping the man's name towards the backmost stripe on the side. The theme here is actually one that Pharrell could appreciate given his frequent customization of his own sneakers: the shoe is meant as a blank canvas that invites the wearers to throw their own graphics on (as Gonz is seen doing below).
