words // Zac Dubasik March Madness is almost here, and today, adidas announced their new uniform system - their most technologically advanced apparel yet - to be worn during the 2014 NCAA postseason. The Made in March uniforms feature a functional perforated pattern along the leg of the shorts to enable breathability and ventilation. The jerseys feature the same quick-drying technology found in the current NBA uniforms, along with ClimaCoolzones on the chest, back and sides. Additionally, school mantras selected by each team are printed on the inside of the collars. Short sleeve jerseys will be worn by Baylor, UCLA, Cincinnati and Louisville while Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Notre Dame, Tennessee and Wisconsin go with sleeveless versions. A few teams will all wear special colors for the tournament, including military-inspired army green for Baylor, Los Angeles skyline-inspired navy and gold for UCLA, and "crimson and cream" for Indiana. You'll start to see the uniforms on-court beginning in the conference tournaments, and gear will be available at campus bookstores as well as at adidas.com. \...
