The success speaks to the popularity of the upscale and dress-inspired sneakers, but also to what influence their home of Toronto has had on the culture in recent years. Although, you could argue that the winter weather always brings a higher level of sophistication to footwear, especially since rarely do you see any bright and flashy winterized boots find any form of success. The city of Toronto has become influential in streetwear and culture thanks to the fashion sense of people like Drake, Marcus Troy, and Ransom. The simple colorways of the Spring/Summer collection of the Valley High are fairly basic. There's nothing much outside of monochromatic shades and varsity colored accents, but really with the relatively simple style of the silhouette, it seems to work well. The tongue tag features the double labeling of both Ransom and adidas, while the lower ankle features an embossed Ransom sword crest.
